Newborns are so tiny and precious for what seems like the blink of an eye. They grow so fast and photographs are the only way you can freeze time and save all of the precious little details about your baby that you don't want to ever forget. Professional newborn photographs truly are beautiful works of art. I want to provide you with images that will last a lifetime and remind you of just how small your baby was for many years to come. I'm passionate and honored to capture these once in a lifetime memories.
The best time for a posed newborn session is within the first two weeks after birth. During this time babies have retained some of their natural flexibility from their time in the womb. Newborn babies are also sleepy and more tolerant of being posed. Posed newborn sessions offer great attention to detail, fun props such as baskets, bowls and flowers. Each part of your posed newborn session is carefully planned and expertly executed. Before your session I will have you fill out a questionnaire to help me plan for your baby's session. During the session you can be as involved as you'd like in choosing props and details like headbands and other accessories. You can also just give me color and prop preferences and I will take creative control of the small details.
You can rest assured that your baby will be in gentle, patient and safe hands that have held and posed babies for over eleven years. I'm also a mother of three, although my children are older, I still remember the snuggly newborn stage and all of the worries that come along with it. I'm always patient and gentle with every precious little one that comes to my studio.
It's best to book your session during your pregnancy to reserve your session spot ahead of time. Once your baby is born you will email, text or call me as soon as possible to schedule your actual session date. If you have not pre-booked a session that's okay. Please contact me as soon as possible after your baby is born to see if I have a newborn spot available.
