Roseville Newborn Photographer, Studio Newborn Session

Studio Newborn Sessions are so fun for me and no two sessions are alike. First of all, anyone who says all babies look the same is crazy. One of the first things I notice about babies is their weight, their hair and eyelashes. Babies have so many differences right off the bat and I love to highlight their cuteness, photograph, and save it for their parents to have for a lifetime.

When you come to the studio for a posed newborn session I take extra care to swaddle your baby nice and comfy for their session. I have fun getting to know my clients and what they want for their session. I start with props and colors and work creatively on the fly. I don't pre-plan much except for the general flow of what I'm photographing and in what order which is almost always the same. I love to talk to moms and dads about colors and props so they can individualize and participate as much or as little and they want to with their baby's session. My session questionnaire helps me with that so there is some preparation of course.

This little doll was so sweet and her middle name is Sage so of course we incorporated lots of greens! Her and her family were awesome to photograph!
